Back pain, whether chronic or as a result of injury, offers a unique challenge in moving forward into recovery. Yoga can safely and effectively provide an approach for healing that incorporates appropriate movement and stabilization. This workshop will provide anatomy and physiology of the lower back and pelvis, and simple biomechanics of common lower back injuries. Gentle yoga postures and modifications will be instructed, and participants will leave with a home program and specific tools applicable to a daily approach to lower back management.
